FUTURE
Education
Currently 8 Universirties have campus in Coban (main city); this fact is rewriting youth’s way to approach the future. Access to high level education is defenetly a good indicator of development.
THE ARMY
Army’s presence trough the “Destacamento Militar” stablished in the area since 2019, has become an important part of positive ecosistem creation, in this Verapaz region.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The new “under construction” road between Purulhá and El Estor, will facilitate greatly the traffic of people and products.
COFFEE
Features
Cultivated between 1,300 and 1,500 feet above sea level, in a semi cold and humid weather conditions, plus high levels of cloudiness for the most part of the year; generally with several fresh fruit notes, a well balanced body and nice aroma.
